Learn to surf in Spain

Best surf spot for beginners in Andalusia, with our surf courses around Conil, El Palmar.

Our motivated surf instructors have a lot of experience and are well trained! After only a few lessons and lots of fun you will ride the first waves with us.

With professional support and in a relaxed atmosphere you will learn the necessary basic techniques for the correct and safe handling of the surfboard. During a little warm-up, we prepare our muscles for surfing and practice paddling the wave and getting up on the surfboard.

Family-friendly surf lessons in small groups

In the group with a size of about 6 to 8 students our surf instructors have enough time for a good and individual support. We adapt to your skills and support you with tips and tricks to make progress in surfing.

Surf lessons and weather conditions

The surf lessons usually take place in the morning as we are dependent on prevailing waves and weather conditions. In the morning, the conditions for waves and wind are usually the best.
The meeting point for the surf course is located at the Playa de los Bateles, here you can see from afar our big red trailer with the inscription Surfschool Conil.
A surf session takes about 2 hours and includes the material from surfboard to wetsuit. We have a large selection of wetsuits from O’Neill or ION and the right one for all sizes!

In addition to the practical lessons, there is of course something to learn about the theory. Here you will learn important information about the waves, currents, tides, the material and safety while surfing.

Learn to surf at the best surf spots in Spain

The city of Conil has provided its own beach section for our surf school, so we have a wide open space to teach. This has the advantage that you can learn surfing undisturbed with plenty of space and is therefore also ideal for beginners.

Of course, we always try to head for the best spot of the day, whether in Conil, El Palmar, Los Caños or Roche.
